❧ fic: lichen and crom
Jul. 14th, 2023 12:48 pmA fic for Hal & Len! As well as one that I published to AO3, they asked for an original piece with Len's character Lichen and my character Crom. It was to be a pleasant, slice-of-life piece, and I was happy to deliver!
This was a lot of fun to write, though I got a bit lost in the sauce talking about symbiosis and had to keep editting down. It's good for me to be forced to cut out superfluous detail, so it was an excellent challenge and something I think made the piece a lot better.
There is some very mild body horror in this. Crom is a symbiote of a dark elf and a fungus, and Lichen is a conglomerate of all kinds of parts. Please give it a skip if plants, fungi, and wasps are not your thing!
( I do miss Lichen a lot! She's great. )

A huge thank you to Coco for being the first person to get me to write her a fic! She asked for a fic with THK and Lobco! Either them visiting Deep Sea Town and her showing them around/meeting the family OR them settling down somewhere in Prismatica! I chose the former, but it's based on their experiences in the latter place.
For this piece, I tried to immitate the pacing and metre of one of the early scenes from Wadanohara and the Great Blue Sea. It was fun trying to adapt my style to that! I hope you like it.

Bayonetta 3 thoughts & feelings
Nov. 17th, 2022 10:44 amRather than annoy my partner by marching around our flat and yelling "AND ANOTHER THING!", I decided to sit down and just lance the boil of my dissatisfaction with the final game in a series I really enjoy. I don't like putting my thoughts and opinions online as I have little desire to get into internet slap-fights on websites not designed for text entries, so I figured this was as safe a place as any to enjoy it.
